Final Day Before the Final

Review your blog posts.

Have you posted "Being Thankful."

Do you have a favorite font? is it serif? sans serif?

Do you know how to your blog url? my blog url?

Can you find information on the network drive?

What are the three reflection questions? Can you create a five page Powerpoint Slideshow that illustrates the three reflection questions?

Can you embed html into your blog? Can you invite and comment on other blog?

everything we studied can be on the final, but if you know the information above, and the other topics we studied the last week, you can be successful Wednesday.

First Semester Reflection

Friday's Assignment. Post a reflection on how you did during the first semester. This is also to help you prepare for the Final Exam.

I expect to see one piclit from you piclit account posted into your reflection. (There will be a piclit post on your final exam.) Embed the piclit into the third section of the Reflection.

Here are the three questions. Separate the questions so that I can read each answer easily. But keep the three questions in one post.

1. What did you do well?

2. What could you have done better?

3. What did you learn?

I want you to use a sans serif font.

300 points.

Final Exam - 4 parts

Since students learn how to keyboard (or type), in computer applications, students will be required to memorize the keyboard from scratch. Starting with the key to the left of the number one key, to the bottom left "shift" key.

Students will open and save a MS Word Document in their network drive, and change the name of the MS Word file. Students will demonstrate that they know how to use a few popular MS functions.

Using MS PowerPoint, students will create a slideshow and save to their network folder. I will ask students to insert transitions and text to demonstrate their familiarity with the software.

Students will also show that they know how to use the blog software and basic embedding features.

Slideshow Me your Subject

In ten slides, show me your group's subject area. Use color, text, images... what else?

For this assignment, be as creative as possible. Use sound if you can. Use transitions and motion. Use video if it works.

The music group will be split into two. The car group is the car group. Sports is Sports. The artists are all together. Am I missing someone?

Use PowerPoint or GoogleSlideshow. Send to Farley at school e-mail w (bfarley @nusd.org) with proper subject heading. Also, if you can post, please do. You will also be graded again for class participation. Some people might use an online slideshow program too.
